Employee Benefits

Vacation Leave

  • 1st year 1.5385 hours per pay period (1 week)
  • Years 2-4 3.077 hours per pay period (2 weeks; Max 240 hrs.)
  • Years 5-9 4.615 hours per pay period (3 weeks; Max 240 hrs.)
  • 10 Years+ 6.1535 hours per pay period (4 weeks; Max 240 hrs.)

Sick Leave

  • 3.692 hours per pay period (96 hrs./12 days per year) Max 90 days

Holidays Observed

  • New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day the office is closed. (6 total paid holidays)

Personal Leave

  • Floating Holidays – 32 hours/4 days per year (Implemented on a pro-rated basis for the first year of service)

Overtime

  • Hourly at one and one half time

Clothing Allowance

  • New hires will be given their initial clothing allowance 60 days after date of hire.  Each subsequent fiscal year each employee receive $200 clothing allowance - see page 9 of Employee Handbook for details.

Retirement Plan

  • Nationwide 401(k) Retirement Plan
  • 6% contribution by WEB Water
  • Employee salary deferral is available

Health/Vision Insurance

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield (Risty Benefits: 605-338-1489), Sonja Nordbye, Benefits Consultant
  • WEB pays for 100% of employee’s health insurance premium and 50% of family’s premium on myBlue HDHP (HSA) 3000 Bronze Plan or 50% of family's premium on EnhancedComplete 2000 Plan; employee's choice
  • HSA 3000 Bronze Plan - Deductible $3,000/$6,000; WEB contributes $1,000 for 1/$2,000 for 2 or more family members (payment is split in October 2020 & April 2021 or prorated with date Health/Vision coverage begins)
  • EnhancedComplete 2000 Plan - Deductible $2,000/$4,000
  • HSA 3000 Bronze Plan - Out of Pocket Max $3,000/$6,000 (In Network)
  • EnhancedComplete 2000 Plan - Out of Pocket Max $4,000/$8,000 (In Network)
  • Vision Insurance included with Health Insurance through VSP with Reliance Standard WEB pays for 100% of employee’s vision care and 50% of family’s premium. For those family member’s not on WEB’s Health Insurance, employee has the option to buy VSP with Reliance Standard Vision Insurance; using payroll deductions.
  • Coverage begins 1st of the month following date of hire.

Long Term Disability

  • SDARWS Long Term Disability
  • WEB pays for 100% of employee premium
  • Coverage begins 1st of the month following 30 days after date of hire

FLEX

  • A flexible benefit plan is offered and administered through Three Rivers Benefit Corporation, using payroll deductions.

Basic Life and AD&D Insurance

  • WEB pays for 100% of employee premium of $15,000 in basic Term Life Insurance and $15,000 in Accident Death & Dismemberment Insurance.
  • Coverage begins 1st of the month following date of hire.

Dental Insurance

  • Employee has the option to buy Reliance Standard Dental Insurance through Risty Benefits; using payroll deductions.

Life Insurance

  • Employee has the option to buy Reliance Standard Life Insurance through Risty Benefits; using payroll deductions.

Cancer, Intensive Care, & Accident Insurance

  • AFLAC Insurance
  • Employee has the option to buy these insurances using payroll deductions.
